Get More Information on Our Sedation Options
Dentures is not, unfortunately, something patients look forward to when they have to have a filling done or a crown done, or a dental implant done. It’s not something which at the weekend, they think, “Oh, Monday morning I’ve got to have my implant done. I’m looking forward to it,” you know. I’m the same, you know, I don’t look forward to dental treatment. It’s something which I need to have done. So, how do we make patients comfortable? One, the environment. Our environment is spectacular. Our team is spectacular. They’re all extremely well-trained in keeping patients calm and comfortable. Second way we make patients feel comfortable is we provide something called oral conscious sedation. And all this is is a couple of small tablets which the patient takes two hours ahead of time, and they have a chaperone that brings them and we complete most of their care, you know, while they’re sedated. Now, there are some patients who just absolutely cannot sit in the dental chair. They’ve had such a bad experience in the past that they need something extra. And to that end, we do actually have on-site dental anesthesiologists, which can put the patients to sleep. And with sleep dentistry, we can get a lot accomplished. We can get multiple visits done in one visit, and the patient wakes up and everything’s done. So, there are many options today to have dentistry done comfortably, and predictably, and dentistry that lasts a long time so that you don’t have to keep going back and forth and, you know, worrying about, you know, each visit to the dentist.
