I just love the fact to help other people and I have been really good with my hands since I was a kid. So I think that dentistry is the perfect combination in between science and hand skills. So, probably that’s the main reason why I chose dentistry. The fact that you can help others, you can change literally their lives. You can see patients crying of happiness because they can see another person. You can give them more confidence, you can give them like nice smile, function, health, you can improve their health. So, the fact that you can help others, I think this is the most rewarding part of the industry. So I’m from Colombia. I graduated in 2007, from Colombia. Then I went to my master’s degree, and I finished in 2011, and I worked for about eight years. I came to United States, and then I went to USC to validate my degrees. And then here I am working. But I’ve been in the field for about, 13, 14 years, working after school. My whole life I’ve been in continued education. Even I work for several companies as a key opinion leader. So this is something really important because it keep you in the cutting edge of the field. It give you like recent information because dentistry, it’s evolved every day. So the fact that you are in continued education, it gives you like more recent information. You continue like learning every day because, there is always room for learning in dentistry.
